This was an attempt to start the image with a more obvious graphic shape rather than a specific idea, theme or setting, which was originally a big triangle of negative space. The working title was "Small" - I was trying to make the character feel crushed inwards by the frame of the structure, as well as the real and implied lines in the image. The scene was assembled and lit in UE5, with things mostly modeled in 3DS Max and painted over in Photoshop. The VFX at the focal point is from an awesome photo pack from the ArtStation marketplace, by Yuliya Zabelina.
