This was the first level I was assigned for Immortals of Aveum. During production it was known as Training Grounds, and it serves as the tutorial level for the game with a backdrop of abandoned ancient ruins and observatories built into the cliffside. I was the sole level artist for the level and my tasks primarily involved layout, composition and set dressing; I also did some modeling of architectural and organic assets in the scene.
Every level in the game was a huge team effort from many departments, with too many contributors to practically list, so while I feel responsible for the level and many of compositions here I was supported constantly with props, materials, other assets, VFX, lighting, production, and tons of feedback from my lead and art director, and the result is truly a team effort.
