Castle Door

More sculpting and Nanite fun, based on part of Old Wardour Castle. I sculpted pieces in ZBrush and then imported them into UE5 as Nanite meshes to assemble the scene. I also wanted to push for dramatic lighting with defined shapes, initially looking at a lot of Caravaggio paintings and tenebrism stuff but I eased up and went for lighter shadows for most of the scene.
